Oscar F. Vega (Madrid,1957) is a multifaceted artist and entrepreneur. His plastic artwork (painting, sculpture and installations) shows a clearly distinct and personal style and colors (mainly red) and always either a philosophical or social concern intention.

Graduated in philosophy and psychology, however, he has developed an intense vital activity. In early times he founded a software company and remained CEO for over ten years. Nevertheless, his inclination towards creativity, prompted him into film making, television and plastic arts.

He entered into the ‘showbusiness’ as producer and filmmaker, directing and producing feature films, documentaries and hundreds of educational television programs. He also promoted theater plays, concerts and has been curator of the ecological «Oceans World Exhibition”.

He belongs to both the Spanish Film Academy and the Spanish Television Academy.

In recent times he has been elected as independent alderman for the Culture Dep. of a 22K habitant municipality in Madrid province.

Recent individual exhibitions are “The Red One One” (2018, Moltó Gallery -Madrid); “The Galizano One” (2021 Santander) and the antiwar exhibition “Red Gernika” (2021 Deusto Expo Center / Bilbao).
